Eunice Mae Aubertine, 80, of 5244 Betty St., Zephyrhills, Fla., formerly of Sackets Harbor, died Tuesday at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills.
Mrs. Aubertine was employed by the National Bank of Northern New York, the North Country Library System and Hospice of Jefferson County and was a bus driver for Hounsfield Central School.
Born Nov. 26, 1927, in Theresa, daughter of George W. and Edna Fikes Gerber, she graduated in 1946 from Watertown High School.
She married Clifton L. Aubertine on July 11, 1948.
Mrs. Aubertine was a member of United Church of Sackets Harbor, United Presbyterian Church, Zephyrhills, Sackets Harbor American Legion and Fire Department auxiliaries, Red Hat Society, TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) and Rustic Golf Club Ladies League, Dexter. She volunteered at Florida Hospital Zephyrhills and Hospice of Jefferson County.
She enjoyed knitting, playing cards, reading, traveling and golf.
Surviving besides her husband are a daughter and her husband, Candice and Lawrence Kernehan, Alexandria Bay; two sons and their wives, Kip G. and Judy, Houston, Texas, and Sandy R. and Cindy, Sackets Harbor; two sisters, Agnes Duffy, Sonoma, Calif., and Alice O'Riley, Clearwater, Fla., six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Four brothers and four sisters died before her.
