AnnaMae Caroline Waybright George, age 74 years, a resident of Coalton, WV departed this life Monday evening November 28, 2011 at the Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She had been in declining health.

She was born Monday, July 26, 1937 at Flint, Randolph County, WV a daughter of the late Clifton Mason and Mary Elizabeth Bennett Waybright. On June 19, 1954 at Harding, WV she was married to Richard Lee "Mack" George, who survives. They had celebrated fifty-seven years of marriage.

Also surviving are three sons, Terry George and wife Susan; David George; and Ernie George; all of Coalton; one brother, Kenneth Waybright and wife Georgie, Files Creek, Beverly; three sisters, Kathryn Fleming, Alton, IL; Betty Ash, Howey in the Hills, FL; Virginia Knight and husband Al, Dundalk, MD; eight grandchildren, April; Stephanie; Kristie; Justin; Eric; Casey; Sara; and Joey; seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death are three brothers, Elmer; Gerald; and Harold Waybright; two sisters, June Thomas; and Peggy Shaw.

She was a graduate of Coalton High School with the Class of 1955. She was a homemaker, a noted cook and dearly loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Coalton Union Mission Church.

The family will receive friends at the Lohr & Barb Funeral Home of Elkins on Friday, December 2, 2011 from 11 AM to 12:30 PM, the funeral hour. At AnnaMae's request the casket will remain closed. The Rev. Tristan Tenney will officiate and interment will follow at the Mountain State Memorial Gardens at Gilman. WV. The family suggests that expressions of sympathy be in the form of contributions to the Coalton Union Mission Church, P. O. Box 182, Coalton, WV 26257.
