Rose M. Dube, 99, of Rocky Hill Road, died Tuesday at Sturdy Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. She was the widow of Henri Dube.
She was born in Manchester, NH, a daughter of the late Delphis and Delina (Thibault) Gendron. She has lived in Rehoboth for the last 67 years. She had been employed at Whiting & Davis for 10 years, previously working for Bates & Klinke for 34 years. She was an avid bingo player and enjoyed crocheting. She also was a member of the Rehoboth Senior Citizens and had been very active in Church functions at St. Stephen's Church.
She leaves, 2 daughters, Gloria M. Sadlier and Pauline M. Carpenter and a brother Aime and his wife Edith Gendron, all of Rehoboth. She also leaves 4 grandchildren, Lynn Marie Pigeon and her husband Tim of Attleboro, Holly Hicks and her husband James of No. Attleboro, Matthew Sadlier of Attleboro and Donald Carpenter and his wife Carminda of Rehoboth and 5 Great Grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral will be held Saturday at 9 AM from the R.W. CHATIGNY FUNERAL HOME, at 151 Cross Street Central Falls, with a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Stephen's Church So. Main St. Attleboro at 10AM. VISITATION, FRIDAY, 5-8 PM. Burial in St. Stephen's Cemetery.
