Musician. Known as the Tele-wizard, he was dubbed "the best guitarist ever to come out of Wales" by BBC Radio. He began his professional career in the early 1960s as Tom Jones' original musical director in his band "The Squires". He later played in Joe Cocker's "Grease Band" and Jimmy Page's super group "Willie And The Poor Boys". During the 1970s, he performed with Dave Edmunds' band "Rockpile" and was lead guitarist on his number 1 hits "I Hear You Knockin", "Queen Of Hearts" and "Girls Talk". He toured with rocker Shakin' Stevens and played guitar on his hit records "Green Door", "This Ole' House" and "Oh Julie" in the 1980s. He is also a member of the Rock-a-Billy Hall of Fame.
