Dorothy Mae Showman, 84, of Connellsville, passed away Sunday, Aug. 16, 2015, at home comforted by her loving daughter, Nancy Prudente.
Dorothy was born March 14, 1931, in Connellsville, a daughter of the late Roy H. and Mary E. (Smith) Geary. She was a self-employed personal care home aide.
Dorothy is survived by her children, John R. Ohler Jr., Kathy C. Lowden and husband, Harry, Michael D. Ohler and wife, Nancy, Anthony W. Ohler and wife, Brenda, Nancy j. Prudente and husband, Charles, Jeffrey Ohler, Harry T. Ohler and wife, Amy, Scott K. Ohler, Holly J. Martin and husband Dan, James Showman and wife, Donna, Marnie Hanon and Husband Clark; six stepchildren, Patty Showman,Frank Showman Jr., Tomas Showman, Barbara Showman, Richard Showman and Robert Showman; 28 grandchildren; and many great-grandchildren. There will be no public viewing or visitation. Private services are being held under the direction of the VITO C.MARTUCCI FUNERAL HOME.
