MRS. N. GERTRUDE LAUTZENHEISER

OHIO CITY - Mrs. N. Gertrude Lautzenheiser, 78, of Ohio City, died at 9:40 a.m. Sunday in Van Wert County Hospital where she had been a patient four weeks. She had been in ill health two years.

Born Dec. 4, 1890, in Adams County, Ind., she was the daughter of Dayton and Mary (Hindenlang) Gause. She was married June 4, 1907, to John A. Lautzenheiser who survives.

Other survivors include three daughters, Mrs. C. N. (Ina) Van Gundy of Ohio City, Mrs. Arthur (Mary) Foster of Rt. 3, Van Wert, and Mrs. Roger (Juanita) Arnold of Rt. 1, Ohio City; two brothers, Will Gause of Spencerville and Daniel of Ohio City; a sister, Mrs. Victor (Esther) Hurless of Ohio City; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, two brothers and two sisters are deceased.

Mrs. Lautzenheiser was a member of the United Brethren in Christ Church at Willshire and had attended the Greenbrier U. B. in Christ Church for the last 25 years. She had resided in Ohio City since 1948, and was previously a resident of the Willshire area.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the United Brethren in Christ Church at Willshire, the Rev. Lawrence D. Dellinger of Willshire, the Rev. Delbert O. Corbin of Wren, and the Rev. Eugene Grimm of Willshire to officiate. Burial will be in the Willshire Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Cowan and Son Funeral Home from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. today, and from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday and at the church one hour preceding the service.
