Doris Braly was born May 20, 1920 in Sentinel, where she graduated from Sentinel High School and also attended the University of Oklahoma.
She was a district manager for Volume of New York and a department manager at Trade Mart in Lawton. She also worked at othr Lawwton retail locations.
Her first husband was Jack Cartwright and on July 16, 1983, she married M.B. Braly. She had lived in Lawton for 42 years and was a membr of First Baptist Church West.
She was also a member of the DAR, United Daughters of the Confederacy, Daughters of the War of 1812, Daughtrs of American Colonists, Daughters of Colonial Wars in the state of Kansas and Daughters of the Twin Territories.
Survivors include two sons; Roger Cartwright of Trophy Club TX, and Stephen Cartwright of Austin TX; a daughter, Jackie Johnson of Mission Viejo CA; two sisters, Shirley Klein of Moore and Betty Hagen of Manhattan KS; and four grandsons.
