MRS. JOHN H. GAST
Mrs. Anna M. Gast, 68, RFD 2, Chesterton, died at 10 a.m., today at Porter Memorial hospital after a short illness.
She was born on Dec. 15, 1887, in McCool, the daughter of the late Fred and Ann Foreman. She was married in Valparaiso on Sept. 25, 1912, to John H. Gast, who preceded her in death in 1952.
Mrs. Gast lived in Porter county all her life and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic church.
Surviving are one son, Fred J. Gast, RFD 2, Chesterton; six grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Charles Reibly, Valparaiso, and Mrs. Carl Hamann, Waukegan, Ill. One brother, Otto Foreman, preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 9 a.m., Monday at St. Paul's Catholic church. The rosary will be said at the LePell Funeral home at 8 p.m., Sunday.
Friends may call at the LePell Funeral home after 7 p.m., Saturday.
