Paul, 60, 518 N. Walnut, Celina, died at Gibbons Hospital.
He was a son of John and Luella (Dickman) Gast.
In 1924, he married Gladys Trippy, who survived him.
Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Myron Knapschafer, Fort Dodge, IA, and Mrs. Thomas Miller, St. Marys; a brother, Luke, Celina; two sisters, Mrs. Clifford Honie, Celina, and Mrs. Aswin Anderson, St. Marys; and 13 grandchildren.
He was a shipping clerk at Mersman Corp. and operated Peck's Drive-In Restaurant east of Celina. He was a member of Celina Eagles Lodge, Men's Garden Club, and the Knights of Columbus.
Services were in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Celina.
