At 2:30 o'clock last Tuesday Mrs. J. H. Ayers of Highland Flat passed away. She had been suffering with tuberculosis. At noon she was in her usual health, apparently, but late in the afternoon succumbed. Mr. and Mrs. Ayers with other relatives, came here from Nebraska several years ago and have since made their home here. She is survived by her husband, one sister, Mrs. P. W. Coe, and one daughter, Mrs. George Taggart. Her only son was killed by lightening several years ago. A granddaughter, Helen Ayers, seven years old, died Wednesday afternoon at 3:30 at the home of George Garton in Chelan.
