Doris Moseley Bock, 78, passed away October 12, 2007, in The Woodlands. Visitation will be at 1:30 p.m., Tuesday, October 16, at Forest Park, The Woodlands, with the service to follow at 2:30. Graveside services and burial will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, October 17, in Oakwood Cemetery in Waco.
Doris was born near Whitney, Texas, to the late Marvin and Mabel Gartman. In 1939, she met and married Glenn Moseley. They moved to the Waco area in 1941 and established a dairy farm where the family lived until Glenn's death in 1959.
Doris then moved the family to Waco where she was employed by Bird Kultgen Ford for 20 years. She was an active member and Sunday school teacher at North Waco Baptist Church. It was there she met Jack Bock, and they were married in 1966.
After Jack's death in 1998, she moved to The Woodlands to be near her children. Doris was a loving and caring person, who will be greatly missed, but the memories and the lives of those she blessed will never be forgotten.
Doris is survived by her son, Charles Moseley and wife, Donna, of The Woodlands; and daughters, Linda Bean and husband, Lynn, of The Woodlands, and Helen Torrance and husband, Ben, of Katy; seven grandchildren;and five great-grandchildren.
