Betsy Mae Camp Of White Hall Dies; Rites Held April 16
Betsy Mae Camp, 64, White Hall, died Tuesday afternoon, April 14 at her residence.
Mrs. Camp was born at Eldred May 13, 1916, daughter of James Greene and Elizabeth McAdams Garrison. She married C.L. "Brother" Camp, and he survives.
Also surviving are a son, Howard, Ottumwa, Iowa; two step-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Willis (Blanche) Wyatt, Edwardsville; a brother, O.T. Garrison, Roodhouse; and a half-brother, Elmer Garrison, Ashley. She was preceded in death by a son and a half-brother.
Mrs. Camp was a member of the Roodhouse Christian Church.
Funeral services were held Thursday, April 16 at 2 p.m., at the Airsman-Hires Funeral Home, White Hall. Organ music was furnished by Mrs. Harriett Crossman.
The services were conducted by Rev. Victor DeSha of Hillview, and interment was in White Hall Cemetery.
Casketbearers were David McCollum, Mike Wagner, Douglas Wagner, Lawrence Mecklin, Jr., Paul Fansler and J.W. Howard.
