Alice F. Crockett, 71, of Carmi passed away at 6:55 p.m., September 16, 2010 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, In. She was born May 7, 1939 in Carmi the daughter of Harrison Logan and Edith Alice (Calkins) Garrison. She served others as a caregiver for over 50 years.
She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Ann (Cory) Turco of Tucson, AZ and Serena (Brian) Browning of Carmi; one son, Mike Mougakos of Carmi; Grandchildren, Brian Downen, Nathan (Candace) Downen, Stacie (Josh) Hicks and Elijah Mougakos; Great-Grandchildren, Quinton Downen, Chloe Downen and Conner Hicks; and lifelong friends Barb Fleck and Betty Young. She will also be missed by her cherished pets, Peanut, Sugar, Punkin, Arkie and Moo Moo.
She was preceded in death by a lifelong friend Virginia White.
Funeral Services for Alice F. Crockett, 71, of Carmi will be Monday, September 20, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi, IL with the Rev. Robert Sefried officiating.
Burial will be in Concord Cemetery at Emma.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pets At Risk and will be accepted at the funeral home.
