Millie Claycamp
Mrs. Millie Irene Claycamp, 78, Blue Rapids, died Thursday, March 24, 1988, at Community Memorial Hospital, after an extended illness.
Services were at 2 p.m. Monday from the First Baptist Church, Blue Rapids. The Rev. Shelby Bailey and the Rev. J. Ray Swearingen officiated.
Interment was in Fairmont Cemetery, Blue Rapids, with arrangements by Perry Funeral Home.
She was born April 2, 1909, at Decatur, Ark., the daughter of Benjamin and Susan Lewis Garrett.
She married Fred Claycamp on June 11, 1925 at WaKeeney. She and her husband farmed in the Randolph area until 1941, then near Blue Rapids until 1954 when they retired and moved into Blue Rapids.
The Claycamps were the parents of 14 children.
Preceding her in death were her husband on Oct. 20, 1966, seven brothers and sisters and four children.
