Earl D. "Tommy" Garrett, 68, of Glen Rose, passed away on February 9, 2005, at his home.

He was born on July 19, 1936 at Malvern.

Tommy was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church at Hot Springs. He was the owner/operator of Tommy Garrett Trucking Company along with his son.

He was preceded in death by his son, Thomas D. "Tommy" Garrett; his parents, Jessie J. Garrett and Audra Bozeman Garrett; a brother, James Garrett; and a sister, Beatrice "Beaty" Garrett.

Tommy is survived by his wife of 48 years, Mary A. Womack-Garrett; three daughters: Evietta Brown (Jimmy), of Glen Rose, Beth Selby (Alan), of Kingwood, TX, and Crystal Hendley (Pearson), of Hot Springs; one sister, Anna Pilcher of Malvern; and seven grandchildren.

The graveside services will be held at Tulip Cemetery with Rev. Bob Clark officiating.

Memorials may be made to the Arkansas Department of Health Host Spring County Hospice Organization.

Atkinson Funeral Home of Malvern was in charge of arrangements.
