Obituary dated 10-14-1937;
Theodore Garrett died at his home at Jinks from typhoid fever, he was a member of the Beech Grove Baptist Church, a farmer and well thought of in the community in which he lived. Survivors are his wife, Delma Garrett, two small boys, Roy and Howard, his father, Jake Garrett Jr of Jinks, three sisters, Mrs. Beulah Scenters of Jinks, Mrs. Lelia Hurley and Mrs. Lucy Garrett of Ohio. Two brothers, June of Ohio and Esmer of Jinks. Burial at Garrett Cemetery.
