DIED.
In Rochester township, six miles south of Tipton, on the 27th of January, 1871, Mrs. HANNAH G. BAILEY, aged 59 years, 3 months and 19 days.
Mrs. Bailey was one of the oldest settlers of Cedar county. she was highly respected; and her death was a cause of sorrow to the community in which she lived. She was stricken down suddenly, as was supposed, by paralysis. No one was present at the time of her death but a small child. She was found dead, lying on the ground in front of the door of her house, where she had been attending to her morning's work. Her health had been apparently good, and for the last few months even better than usual.
