Funeral for Louise Sherrill Garnett, 82, of Scottsboro will be Saturday at 10 a.m. of Brown Service Funeral Home with the Rev. Pat Brock Carpenter officiating.
Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery. The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Garnett died Thursday at Jackson County Hospital. She was a member of Central Baptist Chjurch and a retired school teacher from Colbert County High School.
She is survived by one son, Fred Garnett of Milton, Fla; one daughter, Sydney Garnett Bolte of Scottsboro, seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
