Betty L. Garner Cornett, a lifelong resident of Brownsburg, died August 19, 2007. She was the widow of James G. Cornett who preceded her in death. She worked at GM Allison and was a stay at home wife for many years. Betty Cornett was a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church. Services will be at 10 am, Wed. August 22, 2007, at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg, with calling there from 4-8 pm Tues. August 21. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery. Survivors include daughter, Nancy (James) Henke; sons Donald (Donna) Cornett and Gary Cornett. There were five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, with another expected in early 2008.
