Mrs. Sarah Garlow Funk died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Frank Way, 922 West Fifth Street, Saturday morning at 7:15 o'clock, following a lingering illness.
She was born in Green County, Pa., Nov. 25, 1854, and was married to Wallace A. Funk Jan. 13, 1877, at Colesburg.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Frank Way, and three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Passenger, Minot, N.D., Mrs. Mary Simons, Garber, Ia.; five brothers, J.A. Garlow, Baldwin Park, Cal.; William Garlow, Cherokee; Frank and Charles Garlow, Garber, Ia.; and James Garlow, Colesburg. Her parents, two sisters, and her husband preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Greeley Methodist Church.
The funeral will be held Monday morning from the residence at 10 o'clock to the Greeley M.E. Church at 2 o'clock. Burial will be made in Greeley.
