CUYAHOGA FALLS -- Marcella B. Deem, 81, died April 25, 2006.
Born in Perry County, Ohio, she had been a Stow resident for 60 years. She enjoyed sewing, spending time with her family, and playing bingo. She made many good friends at bingo. Her grandchildren were the love of her life.
Preceded in death by her husband, James "Sham" Deem, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Bill Nighman of Cuyahoga Falls; grandsons, Jim (Marlo) Nighman of Cuyahoga Falls and Chris (Amy) Nighman of Stow; great-grandchildren, Austin, Travis and Aubrey Marcella Nighman; sisters, Jean Jewell of Glouster, Ohio, Catherine Longstreth and Judi (Bill) Funk of New Lexington, Ohio, Shirley (Frank) Grezlik of Fairfield, Ohio, and Linda (John) McCormick of Jacksonville, Fla.; brother, Clyde Garey; sister-in-law, Olive Wolny; and many nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Dr. Ann Difrangia for all her care and support over the last 30 years.
Friends may call Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Redmon Funeral Home, where Pastor Jim Case will conduct services Saturday at 12 noon. Burial at Stow Cemetery.
