Funeral services for Mrs Elizabeth Gardner Ammons, 78, of Eastover, who died at her home Friday morning, were conducted at 10 o'clock yesterday morning from her residence by the Rev. Carlisle Smith and the Rev Guy Hinson. Interment was in the Quaker Cemetery in Camden.
Mr. Ammons was the widow of the late Ben Ammons and had been in ill health for the past five years. She had made her home in Eastover for nine years and was a member of the MeLeod Methodist church. She was survived by three daughters: Mrs. J.W. Thompson, Mrs. J.H. Campbell and Mrs. Kittie A Dunn; three sons, W.J. Ammons, J.A. Ammons and T.R. Ammons.
