• Samuel C. GARDNER of Pennsylvania, whom she married at St. Johns Church, Savannah, in 1882.
Harriett's only child, William E. HINDLEY (1866-1907), also predeceased her.
In June of 1870, Sol HINDLEY, an Engine Builder, age 45 years, & Henrietta, 30, and their son, William E., 4, were living in Savannah, with two boarders surnamed BURNETT from South Carolina and a domestic servant.
In June of 1880, Harriet HINELY, age 40, was a widow keeping a boarding house at 16 Gordon Street in Savannah. Her boarders included a Millwright and five men who worked for the railroad - of those five, one was her nephew, Newton PEVEY, age 19 (the son of Solomon's sister, Frances HINELY PEVY ABBOT 1840-1910).
