Lillian Gardner Carnahan 75 of 221 Mill Ave, Johnsonburg, Pa., died Tuesday (Jan 18, 1983) in Elk General Hospital following a short illiness.
Born Nov 5, 1907 in Philadelphia, Pa. She was a daughter of Henery and Elizabeth Ward Gardner. She was the wife of Isaac B. Carnahan who died Oct 12, 1972.
A life long resident of Johnsonburg, Pa. Mrs, Carnahan was employed Sylvania Electric in Emporium, Pa., for 25 years until her retirement.
She was a memember of the Holy Rosary Church, The Alter Rosary Society of the church; The Quarter Centery Club of Sylvania.
Surviving are three sons: Charles Carnahan Johnsonburg, Stewart Carnahan Johnsonburg, Lawerance Carnahan St. Marys; Four daughters Jane Hhinchcliffe Johnsonburg, Pa., Ruth Walker Erie, Pa., Lottie Yopeck Erie, Pa., Faye McQuone St Marys, Pa., 49 grandchildren; and 14 greatgrandchildren; a brother Lawerance Gardner Paulsboro, N.J.; four sisters Cenia Donahue Eggboro, N.J.; Marie Boos Medford, N.J.and Hazel Runyon and Violet Ream, both of Bradford, Pa.
Frinds will be received at Uble Funeral home Johnsonburg todayfreom 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A mass of the Resurrection and committal services will be held Friday Jan 21, 1983 at 10 a.m. In the Holy Rosary Church. The Rev David Finlay pastor, will officate. Burial will follow in Wardville Medodist Cemetery, Johnsonburg, Pa. A Christian Wake Service will be held today at 8:45 p.m. In the funeral home.
