Maude Campbell
Mrs. Maude M. Campbell, 83 of 1704 Underwood Street, Lafayette, Indiana, died at her residence on Wednesday morning. She had been ill since December 14.
Born in Carroll County, Indiana, on March 21, 1880, she was the daughter of Joshua and Lavina Gard. She was married in 1899 to Roscoe Campbell who died February 23, 1960. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lafayette and had resided in Carroll County many years before moving to Lafayette in 1945.
surviving are two sons, Glen Campbell of Freemont, Indiana; Russell of Monticello; three daughters: Helen Davis of Cincinnati; Josephine Deboy of Bloomington and Irene Farrell of Lafayette; three sisters: Mrs. Jean Peterson of Flint, Michigan; Mrs. Madeline Hooker of Lafayette; Mrs. Josephine Sigler of Winter Park, Florida. Rites were held at the Moore and Brown Funeral Home with the Reverend Randell Corkren officiating with burial in Rossville Cemetery.
