She was employed by the City of Shreveport as a Revenue Clerk. Betty was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She passed away on September 22, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jerry Garcie; and son, Joseph Garcie. She is survived by her son and wife; daughter; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and three siblings.
