Johnny Ray Garcie, 70 of Zwolle, Louisiana died on Saturday, January 8, 2011, at Desoto Regional Hospital in Mansfield, Louisiana. He was born on Saturday, April 6, 1940 in Sabine Parish.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tom and Louise Garcie; 3 brothers, Clayton Garcie, J.L. Garcie and Gene Garcie and 1 sister, Dorothy Hegetph.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Garcie of Zwolle, LA; 2 sons, Glen Garcie and special friend, Wanda Clark of Zwolle, LA and Allen Garcie of Zwolle, LA; 1 grandson, Robert Thomas Garcie of Zwolle, LA; 2 sisters, Elma Tucker of Converse, LA and Marie Rivers of Zwolle, LA along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Funeral services were at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 12, 2010 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Zwolle, LA, Father Kenneth Williams officiated. Interment followed in St. Joseph Cemetery in Zwolle, LA.
Pallbearers will be Joe Garcie, Tommy Garcie, Robert Paul Parrie, Bubbie Parrie, Dewayne Mitchell and Danny Garcie.
Services were under Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Zwolle, LA.
