ARIETA GUADALUPE "LUPE" A 51-year resident of San Leandro passed away on May 13, 2002 at Kaiser Hospital in Walnut Creek at age 79. A native of Oakland, she lived in Dublin for the last 5 months. She is survived by her husband of 58 years Albert Arieta of Dublin; son Albert Arieta Jr. of West Point CA. & three daughters, Susan Damrosio of Dublin; Bonnie Chancey of San Ramon; and Kim Flores of Tracy. sister, Juanita Arieta of San Ramon. Also surviving are her three sons-in-law all of whom she felt could do no wrong as well as her loving daughter-in-law; 9 grandchildren, Stacey Lassen, Angela Arieta, April Dambrosio Pruitt, Gina Faria, Shannon Avery, Sherri Pote, Kris Ganem, Joe Flores, Ashley Flores, 8 great-grandchildren and many friends. Preceded in death by sister Helen Perez and brother Salvador Garcia. Lupe enjoyed cooking, playing the piano & bowling, most of all she enjoyed her family and slot machines. Visitation on Thursday, May 16, from Noon to 8:30 PM at the mortuary with Vigil Service at 7:30 PM at SANTOS ROBINSON MORTUARY, 160 Estudillo Ave., San Leandro, CA. Funeral Liturgy Friday, May 17, 11:00 AM at St. Raymonds Church, 11555 Shannon Ave., Dublin. Burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Hayward. Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Disease.
