Rose G. Baca, age 97, born in La Joya, NM, and a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 surrounded by her family.
Rose is survived by sons, Willie Baca and LeRoy Baca, sister, Dulcinea Carrillo, brothers, Benjamin García and his wife, Angelina and George García, son-in-law, Charles “Chuck” vonHentschel, grandchildren, Ginger Gómez and her husband, Tom, Erika O’Leary and her husband, Kevin, Rebecca vonHentschel, Annette Shaw, Charles vonHentschel Jr. and his wife, Cindy and Nathaniel Baca and his wife, Annette and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Rose was preceded in death by her parents, José Maria and Leonore (Baca) García, husband, Willie B. Baca, son, José Rafael Baca, daughter, Doris Joyce vonHentschel, sisters, Cruzita Miera and Rita Griego, brother, José García and grandson, Alan Smith.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 29, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 11:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church 562 Atrisco Dr. SW. Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 12:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kristian Gómez, Adrian Gómez, Ryan vonHentschel, Austin vonHentschel, Nathanial Baca, Alan Smith. Honorary pallbearers will be Lemuel vonHentschel, Scott Shaw, Hunter Greenleaf and Isaiah Baca.
