Margaret was employed at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church for many years. As well, she worked for Akal Security and was a caregiver for the elderly.
Margaret loved spending time with her family and especially playing with her grandkids, she will be remembered as the “big kid” at the party. Margaret enjoyed walking, going to the casino and staying up late.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice Anaya and Manuel Reyes García, her daughter, Maria Flores, sister, Gloria García and brother, Tony García.
Margaret is survived by her daughters, Margaret Andrea Flores and her husband, Eli Medina, Angelica Mendoza and her husband, John Ortiz, two brothers, Nick García and Anthony García, three grandchildren, Gabriel, Santiago and Maria as well as many other family members and friends who loved and will miss her.
Services will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 619 Copper Ave. NW. on Thursday, November 6, 2014. A Rosary will be recited at 9:30 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Burial will then take place at the San José de Armijo Cemetery, Coors and Arenal SW.
