Sylvia was born in Albuquerque NM, on August 6, 1927 to Manuel Chávez and María Luz García.
Sylvia was a dedicated mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who adored her family and loved spending time with them.
Sylvia had a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and devoted to her church.
Sylvia was preceded in death by her beloved husband of five years, Mike Garbagni.
Sylvia is survived by her loving children, Annabelle Ibarra, Romancita Ramírez and her husband, Desiderio, Judy Pérez and her husband, Al, Joe Domínguez and his wife, Ramona and Ronnie Martínez and his wife, Carla, 15 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, sister-in-law, Flora García and extended family and friends.
A Visitation will take place at García Mortuary in the Chapel of Angels on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will take place at the Living Water Full Gospel Church, 7002 Acoma SE on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Internment to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.
Sylvia will be greatly missed by numerous friends, family and all who knew and loved her.
