Mary was the daughter of the late Emmett J. and Elizabeth (Knittel) Gant.
Mary graduated from Cathedral High School, Sioux City in 1946. Mary married Donald E. Clark on September 4, 1948 in Sioux City. They were blessed with five children, Kathleen, Monica, Ramona, Joan and Gregory. The Clarks moved to Council Bluffs in 1958. Mary was a homemaker and a member of Queen of the Apostles Catholic Church and it’s Altar and Rosary Society.
In addition to her parents, Mary was preceded in death by her grandson, Jeremy Drake; her three sisters; and her two brothers.
Mary is survived by her husband of nearly 67 years, Don Clark; her four daughters, Kathleen (Ralph) Gandy, Monica Lavia, Ramona (Larry) Schlautman, Joan (Tom Blackburn Rodriguez) Martin; her son, Gregory (Rita) Clark; her ten grandchildren, her six great grandchildren; her nieces; and her nephews.
