Jean Louise Ganss, age 76, of Woodsdale, passed away July 19, in Heartland of Browning. Mrs Ganss worked for Warren Radio Company for 24 years retiring in 1982 as an Accounts Payable clerk. Mrs Ganss was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church where she devoted much of her time, and was superinetendent and Sunday school teacher. She also organized the first Womans Group and was the first lady to serve on the church council and also was a Bethel Services Teacher. Also she loved to write poetry for people. She was the widow of Clarence Ganss.
Surviving are her son and two grandchildren.
Friends may call the the Bersticker-Scott Funeral Home, 3453 Heatherdowns Blvd. at Byrne Rd. Thursday, 7-9 p.m. and Friday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Services will be held Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at Bethel Lutheran Church, pastor Thomas Wilson officiating. Interment Forest Cemetery. The family suggests contributions to Bethel Lutheran Church United Fund.
