Dr. Alden A. Gannett, age 80, of Hoover, AL passed away September 23, 2001. Dr. Gannett was Founder and President of Gannett Ministries, Inc. and President Emeritus of Southeastern Bible College.
He is survived by his wife, Georgetta Salsgiver Gannett of Hoover, daughter, three sons, 11 grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, brother and sister.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 25, between 5:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. at Ridout's Southern Heritage. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, September 26, at 1 p.m. at Shades Mountain Bible Church. Burial will be in Southern Heritage Cemetery. Ridout's Southern Heritage directing.
