Adrian Gandara May 28, 1958 - March 3, 2010 Visitation for Adrian Gandara will be held at Basham Funeral Care (3312 Niles Street) on Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 5:00-9:00 p.m. with a Wake service beginning at 7:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the Basham Funeral Care Chapel on Thursday, March 11, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery (3700 River Blvd.) Adrian was born May 28, 1958 in El Paso, Texas. His family later settled in Weedpatch, California, where he grew up, later marrying Ida Leon and having a daughter, Andrea. During his life he started his own business, Gandara Striping. He attended church at Greater Bakersfield Ministries with his family. He enjoyed fishing, football and BBQ's with family. He was a loyal 49er fan and his precious grandchildren, Akrista and Jaden were his heart. He will truly be missed by all his family that loved him. He is survived by his wife, Ida Gandara; daughter and son-in-law, Andrea and Chris Ambriz; mother, Clara Gandara; grandchildren, Akrista and Jaden Ambriz; five sisters; two brothers; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Arthur and Trini Leon, Sr. as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
