Mrs. Annie E. Fox, widow of Mathias Fox, died at 4 p.m. Sunday of complications at her home near Blissfield. She was 74.
Annie E Gamertsfelder was born March 25, 1864 in Jefferson township, a daughter of Jacob and Christina Gamertsfelder. She was married on October 29, 1891 to Mathias E Fox, who preceded her in death 12 years ago. In her childhood, she was united with the Bethel Evangelical Church and then after her marriage, transferred her membership to the Clark township Baptist Church.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Russell Stewart of the home,; a son, Carl Fox of Millersburg Rt. 2; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Elsie Leatherow of Fredericktown, O.; three grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie Sondles of Blissfield and Mrs. Laura Weil of Warsaw; four brothers, David and Charles Gamertsfelder of Coshocton, Otto Gamertsfelder of Wooster and Samuel Gamertsfelder of Warsaw route 3.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Clark township Baptist Church with Rev. G.W. Boyd officiating. Burial will be in the Blissfield Cemetery.
