Jan "Granny" Pulley, 72, resident of 108 Everleen Court, wife of Joseph "Jody" Pulley, went to be with the Lord on April 27, 2012 at the Hospice House surrounded by her family. Born in Abbeville County, August 11, 1939, she was the daughter of the late Malcolm Shirley and Sarah Prince Gambrell. A graduate of Dixie High School, she was retired from Monsanto and was the owner of Just Formal. Mrs. Pulley was a member of North Side Baptist Church, where she was a member of the New Herizons Sunday School Class. She was predeceased in death by two husbands, Wallace Fields and Ernest A. Buckner, Jr.; a stepdaughter, Sherry Denise Pulley; and a brother, Malcolm Lee Gambrell. Surviving, in addition to her husband of the home, are a son Steve (Kim) Fields of Due West; a daughter, Jayn (Warren) Langley of Hodges; stepsons, David (Dottie) Pulley and Ray Pulley, both of Ware Shoals; two stepdaughters, Debbie (Ronnie) Herin of Greenwood and Tammy (Tommy) Shirley of Tulsa OK; two stepsons, Rick Buckner of McCormick and Andre Buckner of Waterloo; grandsons, Adam (Anna) Langley of Lancaster, Grant Fields of Due West, Stephen (Brittany) Fields and Nathan Pulley, both of Charleston, Trevor Pulley, Justin Pulley and Jody (Amber) Hoffer, all of Ware Shoals and Frank Langley of Greenwood; granddaughters, Kelli Langley of Columbia, Katie Fields of Due West, Anna Pulley of Ware Shoals, Kristi (Steve) Cribbs of Greenwood, Kami (Burt) Gauvey of Simpsonville, Matthew Shirley of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Brooke O'Brien of PA, Megan (Richard) Johnson and Molly (Jason) Bishop, both of Greenville; a sister, Pat (Bryant) Kellett of Simpsonville; three step-grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. Burial in Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
