Benjamin Carl Gambrell, 85, of Anderson, widower of Frances Cox Gambrell, died Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Rainey Hospice House.
He was the son of the late O.G. and Floy Roland Gambrell.
He was retired from LaFrance Industries.
He was a Korean War Veteran.
Survivors include a sister, Virginia Wright; brother, Jerry Gambrell; two grandchildren, Ashlee Anderson and Benjie Gambrell; and four great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Benjie Ollin Gambrell; four sisters, Earline Garrison, Kathrine Hatcher, Frances Hollingsworth and Betty Davis; and a brother, James W. Gambrell.
