Betty Jean Hildebrand Galloway, 81, was born September 25, 1931, to Lafayette and Nora Hildebrand, the second daughter of four girls. She went to heaven on August 27, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of fifty-two years, William Arthur Galloway; her parents; two sisters, Neva Waller and Pearl Clark; and two brothers-in-law, Hershel Meny and Othel Clark.

She is survived by two daughters, Norma Chism (Gene) of Stuttgart and Jan Phelps of Houston, Texas; three sons, Ronald Galloway (Debbie)of Stuttgart, John Galloway (Denise)of Conway, and Andy Galloway of Stuttgart; six grandchildren, Dennis Chism; Kerri Mack (Keith), Scott Chism(Stephanie), Beth Ann Orrick (Dave) Lance Galloway (Elaine); and Tracie Galloway; nine great- grandchildren; one sister, Virginia Meny; and a host of nephews and nieces.

She was a wonderful, virtuous woman, but that is not why she is in heaven right now. The reason is that she understood there is only one way to heaven, and that is through the Lord Jesus Christ. If she could come back and speak to you, she would urge you to come to Him right now.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, August 29, 2013, at Roller Citizens Funeral Home in West Helena, Arkansas.

Services will be directed by Roller-Citizens Funeral Home, West Helena, Arkansas.
