Mrs. Francis Lee Galloway Dobson 67 of Jeffries Street, Mount Airy, NC. She was born in Surry County December 7, 1945 to the late Claymon Davis and Josephine Galloway. Francis was called to her Heavenly home on Friday morning May 3, 2013 at Northern Hospital of Surry County. She was married to Archie Lee Dobson who preceded her in death. Frances was devoted member of Triumphant Pentecostal Holiness Church and she enjoyed serving in the choir. She loved shopping, culinary delights, and watching her soap operas. She was always willing to lend a hand. She leaves to cherish her memory three sons Vincent Galloway of the home, Anthony Dobson (Tawana) of North Wilkesboro, NC, and Craig Dobson also of the home, seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, one nephew, one sister-in-law two uncles, three aunts and host of cousins and friends. She was also preceded in death by one son Archie Levi Galloway, one brother Jerome Galloway. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday May 8, 2013 at 12:00noon at Triumphant Pentecostal Holiness Church 183 Marshall Farm Rd, Mount Airy Bishop Tony O. Carter will be the eulogist and burial will follow in the Ararat Cemetery, Mount Airy. Family will receive friends from 11:00am until 12noon prior to the funeral service. Spencer Funeral Directors are in charge of all services and arrangements.
