James "Jim" A. Gallo, Sr., 78, of Enfield, loving husband of Doris A. Gallo, went to his eternal rest on February 28, 2006, surrounded by his loving family at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Hartford, he has resided in Enfield since 1966. He retired as a transmission technician. He enjoyed life with his family, riding his motorcycle and taking his family out on his lifelong dream—his boat. Along with many of his children he was an avid bowler. Jim will be greatly missed by everyone. A loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, Jim is survived by his loving wife Doris with whom he just celebrated 55 years of marriage; his children, Donna L. Wood and her husband Jay, Michael A. Gallo and his girlfriend Sharon, James A. Gallo, Jr. and Denise L. Moody and her fiancé James all of Enfield, Mark A. Gallo and his wife Marcie and Candy L. Patterson and her husband "Doc" both of Port Orchard, WA and Danny Robitaille of West Brookfield, MA; 14 grandchildren and two great- grandchildren.
A private burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
