Baptist minister and former truck line co-owner Billy Jearld "Daddy Bill" Gallimore, 73, of Puryear died Monday, June 23, 2008, at Paris Healthcare Center.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Ronnie Stinson will officiate. Burial will follow in Puryear City Cemetery.
Ross Paschall and Matthew Gallimore will be honorary pallbearers.
Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. today and after 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Born Sept. 24, 1934, in Puryear, he was a son of the late Doyle Gardner Gallimore Sr. and Odie Mae Byars Gallimore.
He was married on Dec. 23, 1954, to the former Peggy Ann Hutson, who died Sept. 10, 2007.
Gallimore was a member of Puryear Baptist Church. He served as a Baptist minister for more than 50 years in West Tennessee and Western Kentucky. He was former co-owner of Cassie Motor Lines in Puryear and a former vice president of Paschall Truck Lines in Murray.
He leaves two daughters: Pam Gallimore of Paris and Sandra (Kenny) Paschall of Puryear; one sister: Glenda (Bobby) Wilson of Murray; and three grandchildren: Cassie Jo Moody (Adam) Weatherly of Murfreesboro, Ross Paschall of Puryear and Matthew Gallimore of Nashville.
He also was preceded in death by a son: Rondell Jearld "Ron" Gallimore; and four brothers: Doyle Gallimore Jr., Frank Ralph Gallimore, Samuel Gallimore and Jimmy Gallimore.
