Alice Grace Gallegos, age 55, while surrounded by her loving family passed on to be with our Lord, on Wednesday, February 28, 2001.
Alice was preceded in death by her parents, Roman and Leonela Jaramillo.
Alice is survived by her sons, Kenny Gallegos, Scott Gallegos and his wife, Dawn, Mitchell Gallegos, Jerod Gallegos and their father, Michael Gallegos, her brothers, Mel Jaramillo and his wife, Bessie, Lambert Jaramillo and his wife, Beatrice and Alex Jaramillo, her sisters, Toni García and her husband, Ernest, Priscilla Montoya and her husband, Porfiro, Connie Jaramillo, Gloria García and her husband, Lorenzo, 11 nephews and six nieces.
Alice was born on June 16, 1946 in Long Beach, CA.
Moved to Cañon, NM in 1947 where she grew up and graduated from Jemez Valley High School. Alice was married in 1968 to Michael Gallegos, lived many years in Ponderosa, NM and moved to Albuquerque, NM in 1993.
All Services are being held in Cañon, NM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. The Rosary will be held on Friday, March 2, 2001 at 7:00 p.m. and the Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2001 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Cañon Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Randy Jaramillo, Johnny Jaramillo, Johnathan García, Martín Montoya, Albert Jaramillo and Joe García. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronnie Montoya and Martín Jaramillo.
