ALLEN TOWNSHIP WOMAN EXPIRES

Mrs. Amanda Gallaway, of Allen township died at 9:30 o'clock Tuesday morning at the residence of her son, Warren Gallaway, in Cass township, as the result of a fall down stairs two weeks ago.

Her son had been confined to his home for the past several weeks having been struck by lightning.

Mrs. Gallaway was born in 1860 in Allen township and had lived her entire life on the same farm. Her parents were Nelson and Mary (Bear) Draper.

She was married Feb. 7, 1883 to Robert N. Gallaway, who died Aug 19, 1900.
Besides her son, she is survived by one grandchild and two great grandchildren. A brother, Samuel P. Draper, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Brust preceded her in death.

Mrs. Gallaway had been a member of the Salem church for 50 years. She also belonged to the Worth White Circle.

Funeral services were held in the residence of the son, Warren, on the Port Clinton road. Rev. A. E. Grant, pastor of the Howard Methodist church officiated.
Interment followed in Maple Grove Cemetery with the Coldren funeral home in charge.
