Recitation of rosary will be held at 8 p.m. Friday in the Cole and Maud Mortuary chapel, 215 So. Washington St., for Ernesto Galindo, 1021 So. Campbell Dr., who was pronounced dead on arrival Tuesday at Hoemako Hospital. Death resulted from injuries sustained in an industrial accident at Hecla Mine.
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Anthony's Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
Mr. Galindo was born Oct. 27, 1945 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. He had lived in Arizona for 30 years; eight years in Casa grande.
A Specialist 4-C with the U.S. Army, he was a veteran of the Vietnam War. At the time of his death he was employed by Hecla Mine.
He married Juanita Fernandez, who survives him, in February of 1971 in Casa Grande.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two children, Patrick and Rebecca; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Eulio Galindo Jr., of San Jose, California; his sisters, Mrs. Irene Fernandez, of Casa Grande, Mrs. Margaret Ellis Lujan, of Salinas, California; his three brothers, Alberto, Gilberto, Luis Carlos, and his grandmother, Mrs. Maria V. Hernandez, all of San Jose.
