Polly Cano, age 84, began her journey home on Easter Sunday and passed away peacefully on Monday, April 13, 2009 in Salinas, surrounded by her loving family. She was born February 19, 1925 in Texas.

Polly was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Trinidad "Ted" Cano.

Polly was a loving mother and key partner as a minister's wife to Ted. She was a gifted pianist and teacher.

She is survived by her daughters Yvonne Cano, Elizabeth Manning, Melissa Aylard, Yvette Davis, Elaine Conway and her son, Felix Cano, all of California. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Richard, Danielle, Alexis, Nathan, Ross, Meghan, Sebastian, and Jessica; great-grandchildren: Christopher, Jordan, Alyssa, and Bella.

Services will be held Thursday, April 16, 2009, at 1:00 p.m. at Struve and Laporte, 41 W. San Luis, Salinas CA.

Burial will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery, 850 Abbott Street, Salinas.

Memorials may be made to Valley Baptist Church, 320 Church Street, Salinas, CA.
