Yvette (Gagnon) Fillion, 88, of Bristol, widow of Thuribe Fillion, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, January 23, 2015 at the Pines at Bristol. Yvette was born in St. Ludger, P.Q. Canada on December 15, 1926 and was a daughter of the late George and Clara (Gilbert) Gagnon. Mrs. Fillion was a longtime Bristol resident, a member of St. Ann Church, Bristol, the Ladies of St. Ann Society and L’Arme de Marie. She is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law: Raymond and Denyse Fillion, Bernard and Laurie Fillion, Martial Fillion, Jean and Laura Fillion; a daughter and son-in-law: Judith and Raymond Tanguay; five brothers: Emmanuel, Reginald, Andre, Gregoire and Jacques Gagnon; five sisters: Rita Rodrigue, Marie Paule Roy, Georgette Faucher, Rejeanne Roy and Nicole Begin; five grandchildren; Gia and William Chiarillo, Raymond and Isabelle Tanguay, Francois Tanguay, Kyle McGhoulin and David Fillion; three great-grandchildren; Justin and Fanny Tanguay and Sebastian Fillion; a god daughter; Lucy Veilleux and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons: Yves (Steve) and Sylvain Fillion; a brother: Gilbert Gagnon and two sisters: Gilberte Rodrigue and Therese Lachance. The family would like to thank the staff and residents at the Pines at Bristol for their kindness to their mother. Funeral services will be held on Saturday January 31, 2015 at 9 AM from the Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol to St. Ann Church, 215 West St. Bristol, at 10 AM for a Mass of Christian Burial. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery,
