"Mrs. Bertha Benfer, 43, of 420 West Walnut street, sticken while in the office of Dr. H. D. Leh, of North Duke street, died about 10 a.m. Sunday, while enroute to St. Joseph's Hospital in the city police ambulance.
Mes. Benfer, wife of Samuel D. Benfer, had gone to the physician's office shortly before ten o'clock and was stricken while being treated. Deputy coroner, Dr. J. F. Trexler, who conducted an inquest declared death due to apoplexy.
Besides her husband, she is survived by one son, Earl C. Miller, two brothers, Frank and John R. Gable, and a sister, Mrs. Florence Pope, all of this city.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock from the home. Burial will be private in Riverview Burial Park."
