Henry's parents were Pierre Goulet b. 1788 Canada , died 1867, and Madeline Vanasse. Henry was first wed to Pelagie Menard,dau. of Louis Menard and Lizzete?. Pelagie died before 1860, and their children were Antoine, Amanda Susan, and Peter all born in NE.(Ref. 1860 US Census Rulo, Richardson,NE). Henry's children with Louisa were Mary, Jefferson Davison, Mary, Margaret"Maggie", and Charles. Louisa Girox was the third wife of Andrew Drips(wed 1863, She was at least his third wife as they Sioux Indians often had polygamous marriages. Louisa's children by Mr. Drips were Jack, George, Thomas, Anna and Julia. Charles's spouse was Christina Bechtold, b. 1879 Germany, and died 1949 Sioux City,IA. they were wed 1895 Armour, Douglas County,South Dakota. Henry's other wives were Margaret Degi(Henry did not marry Margaret Degi, although he did take out a license). Per Glenda Goulette, I have been in contact with her family and she did not want to marry "an old man.", and Mary Goodfire or Goodline(daughter of Shakes at His Thunder, and Wistu, both Yanktons, Also there is some dispute about Mary Goodfire/line having married Henry),with the latter, he had a daughter Mary born 1851. she married several times, her last spouse being John "Jack" Sully.
