ELDRIDGE, Iowa -- Funeral Services and Mass of Christian Burial for Josephine E. "Jo" Fullerton will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 11, at Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church, Davenport. Burial will be in St. Ann's Cemetery, Long Grove, Iowa. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the Halligan-McCabe-DeVries Funeral Home, Davenport, where a prayer service will be offered at 6:30 p.m. Mrs. Fullerton died Tuesday, July 8, 2008, at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport, after a brief illness. Josephine had made her home at Palmer Hills, Bettendorf, for the past two years and was formerly a resident of Eldridge, Iowa. Josephine E. Butler was born in Pembina, North Dakota, one of 14 children of Charles and Edith (Carpenter) Butler. She was united in marriage to Charles C. Fullerton, September 1, 1956, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Davenport. Charles preceded her in death February 21, 2005. Josephine retired from Oscar Mayer in 1975. She was a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church and a former member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, Long Grove, Iowa Memorials may be made to Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church. Survivors include her one remaining brother, Charles (Thelma) Butler, DeWitt, Iowa; nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews; and many other loving relatives and friends.
